After Howlercon 2023, many Howlers in the fandom were still searching for the thrill of a large community event.

We craved the ability to leisurely wander around an unfamiliar town, howling at the top of our lungs, and spending time with friends until late in the night. Small meetups continue to pop up around the United States, but they aren't quite to the scale of a large event.

In an effort to have another shared group experience, the Den partnered with House MNerva, the resident Howlers of Minnesota, and picked Minneapolis as our central meetup point. Meringue secured La Dona as our main event space. Members of House MNerva banded together to bring in merch from PBDoodles, Miles Bensky, and other local artists. The Howler's Den promoted a cosplay contest, awarding the top two crowd voted winners (by howl of course).

More than 65 Howlers flew from all over the world for a weekend of revelry and friendship.

With the success of our very first in-person event, we hope to continue this tradition in a different city on a yearly basis.
