In 2021, Salem first began her venture into cosplay. With a lack of Red Rising representation on social media, she created videos relating to the series on bookstagram.

Many Howlers commented on her posts, wishing for a central place, easier than DMs and comment sections, to connect over the Red Rising saga.

With a desire to bring people together and a knack for leading others, Salem took the leap and created the Howler's Den discord server on November 11th, 2022.

Red Rising will always have a special place in her heart, yet she prefers fantasy over sci-fi. When she's not leading others in her management role or chatting in the Den, her spare time is spent reading, working on a hyper fixation craft project, spending time in local parks, playing dnd, and attending her dog, Atticus.
